2010 Horse Shows – The Horsemanship Challenge

A third show is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, September 26

Our new show format is inspired by several vastly different show styles: Versatility Ranch Horse, Three Day Eventing and Dressage Trials. They all evaluate horse and rider and provide scores which can be improved over time. Our primary goal for this show format is to provide a FUN environment and valuable feedback at the end of the day.

NNMHA hopes to promote learning and improving. In the judging of all classes, completing the maneuvers is the task at hand. Judging will take the rider into account first, not the horse's breed or exact way of going. So we encourage you to bring out your retired horses and get the kids involved! Get out there and show us what you've got. Celebrate your horses by showing them!

This show is still a work in progress and we'd like your feedback too. Please submit any comments, good or bad, in writing to tazdogs@msn.com, and they will be considered after the show.
